“Method Statement of Bore Pile Construction and the Test”

Academic Year: 2019 - 2020


1. GENERAL

According to the Figure below shown that, there are 2 types of foundation
column are: foundation column with high pile cap and foundation column that
the pile cap is under the ground.

- Bore pile is the most important part that the role is to transfer the load of
the structure to the end of the pile and the soil around it.
- Pile cap is connected the pile and distribute the load to various pile under
it.
- The soil around the pile is act to restrain the load from the structure or pile
cap and to resist the load direct along the pile to the end of the pile.

2. Law and Practice


Bore pile is the pile of concrete or pile of reinforcement concrete that
hole the soil out and pour the concrete at the site or take the soil out by other
method, the bore pile is always in the shape of circle.
Bore pile is used for reinforce the soil and connect to the pile cape for
the stability of the structure, this is the new method used for the large
structures above the low strength of soil.
Bore pile that took to design is generally for carrying large load, that’s
way it was the first choice for the large structures and has been used a lot
around the world for constructing high building and large bridges.
For the actual practicing the quality of the bore pile is generally the first
step need to be clear in design to make sure that it strong enough to resist the
load of the structure. So during the construction of bore pile

Abstract
This report present about the methodology of some structures of Chom Chao
interchange project. Like the construction of Bored pile, Soil-cement mixed pile, Jet
grouting, Water tank under the soil layer, Ram road on the ground and the safety at
site. The purpose of this report is to find out about the process of working and the
work flow of the structural element that has mentioned above.
In this report has recorded mostly on the important point and the method to
construct the structural element and it also illustrated just some part of our
knowledge, some technical at the site and the main work that repeatedly process
every day. Moreover, we have learned a lot about the management skill,
communication skill and know how to distribute the labor force correctly which is very
important of the site construction.
