Animal Testing
Animals get tested on varieties of products such as makeup products, household products
like dish soap, and they also get tested on vaccinations. The products don’t get applied on the
animals being tested, the products get injected into the animals. It is unsafe to the animals and
cause harm to them. Healthy animals get tested on majority of popular products that humans use
every day. Animals shouldn’t be used for scientific or commercial testing, it is unsafe and can
cause harm towards them, animal drug tests have failed the human clinic trial, and products that
are testing on animals have fewer natural ingredients and have more chemicals.
Animals are sent to a laboratory and are locked in a small cage, that can cause the animal
to be stressed and scared. Animals are very fragile compared to humans, a small amount of stress
from being isolated, harmed, and being trapped can kill them. The products that get injected into
the animals harm them; animals have suffered a lot from getting a large portion of products
injected into them. All the animals that are tested can threaten them from living, “These tests can
be painful and dangerous and typically, once the experiment is complete animals are killed.”
(Henderson 4). Animal testing has a lot of negative side affects towards the animals and can lead
to their death, it is also inhumane and selfish to put animals at risks for humans’ sakes.
Some animals have similar DNA to humans. Animals have been tested on drugs and it
failed the trials, which means it is also unsafe for human’s health. Although, a drug test can pass
on animals, but it could be different for humans, “As a result, treatments for depression,

schizophrenia, anxiety, Alzheimer’s, and other disorders may be very helpful in mice but would
fail to treat the diseases in humans.” (Zimmerman 3). Every human has a different side effect on
diseases and different genetics, it wouldn’t matter on testing on animals. Animals lose their lives
Products that are animal cruelty free have more plant-based ingredient and less chemicals
in the products. Animal cruelty free products are beneficial for both animals and humans, and
that also means that animals won’t get harmed and giving money to a good company that cares
for animals. It also has a lot of benefits for keeping the animals safe, the earth and environment
clean. Wasting money on companies that abuse animals would motivate them more on abusing
animals and making more products, while companies that don’t abuse animals can also put their
money for the good, “We’ve put together this guide to cruelty-free choices because every
purchase you make, and every meal you cook, is another opportunity to make this world kinder
for the animals we all love and to put an end to businesses relying on a cruelty to make a profit.”
(Animal cruelty free guide 15). The more people use animal cruelty free products, the more
businesses that abuse animals will lose their profit and run out of business and can decrease
animal endangerment.
It should be noted that animals shouldn’t be used for scientific or commercial testing, it is
not safe and can cause harm towards them, animal drug tests have failed the human clinic trial,
and products that are testing on animals have fewer natural ingredients and have more chemicals.
There is no good outcome for using products that abuse animals’ safeties, the products are also
very unhealthy for humans. Their product has cheap quality and can cause breakouts, dry scalp,
unhealthy hair, etc. Animal cruelty free products send out a good message and awareness to take

care of animals and to keep them safe. It will have a positive outcome if everyone separates
