1.physics - Introduction Mechanics - M.Gevorgyan

Physics is the study of matter and its motion through space and time. Mechanics is a branch of physics that deals with forces and their effects on motion. There are several branches of mechanics including Newtonian mechanics, which deals with everyday objects, and quantum mechanics, which deals with matter at the atomic scale. Mechanics has applications in engineering and other fields involving the study of motion and forces.

 Physics (from Ancient Greek: "knowledge of nature") is the
natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion
and behavior through space and time.
 Thus, the main goal of physics is to understand how the universe
behaves.

In the classical mechanics - observed in everyday life, matter is any

substance that has mass and takes up space; this includes atoms and
anything made up of these.

Analytic mechanics

Analytic mechanics includes the study of:

Dynamics - which deals with the accelerated
motion of bodies.
Statics - deals with the equilibrium of bodies,
that is, those that are either at rest or move
with a constant velocity.
Kinematics: It is the study of motion of
particles and bodies without reference to
masses and effects of forces.

Dynamics: It is the branch of mechanics which

deals with the particles and bodies in motion.

Statics: It is the branch of mechanics which

deals with the particles and bodies at rest.
