C. Collaborative Work: Think-Pair-Share
1. Individually, list down at least 3 community needs you have identified
during the interview you have conducted with barangay officials and some
members of the community. Rank these needs from 1 to 3 with 1 as the top
priority and 3 the least.
2. When you hear the word “Pair,” you sit down with a partner.
3. Decide who is member A and who is B. You are to share your answer to
your partner and discuss why it should be the priority.
4. Wait for my command: “Member A, in 30 seconds, share your list of priorities
with member B. Start now.”
5. “Time is up! Member B, it’s your turn to share your list of priorities in 30
seconds to your partner.”
6. “Time is up! In one (1) minute, discuss with your partner which should be
ranked first, second, third, etc. in terms of the needs to be responded on.”
7. “Pairs, take another pair. This time, you are given two minutes to decide
which should be ranked first, second, third, etc.
8. Post your group work on the area assigned to your group.

D. Processing the Learning Experiences

1. Observe the Top 1 Need identified by all groups. Are they similar or
different?
2. If they are similar, what is most likely the reason/s why?
3. If they are different, what could be the reason?
4. Look at the criteria you have used in choosing which should come first, are
they so different from the other groups? Or are they more or less the same?

As you can see, there are some commonalities and differences in the choice
of priority because you have different experiences and different values.
However, in community endeavor, most of your decision must be for the good
of majority.
