GST Rescue

(1) The Blue Wave and Virtual Cones Application is designed to inform drivers of approaching emergency service vehicles or road incidents through suitably-equipped vehicles. (2) It allows emergency services to notify other drivers of a fast-moving emergency vehicle from behind or beside them using a "Blue Wave", or that they are approaching a traffic incident using "Virtual Cones". Application for Emergency Services
Vehicles (ESV)
The Blue Wave and Virtual Cones Application for ESV (Emergency
Services Vehicles) is designed specifically to meet the “real world” needs
Minimum Requirements and requirements of the emergency services operating throughout the
European Union.
Hardware: It allows emergency services personnel to inform drivers of the
Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) following:
Memory • Blue Wave – drivers of suitably-equipped vehicles are advised

from the rear and/or side. This ensures that the emergency
