Materials in Interior Design

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students can:
•Define Interior Design
•Discuss the different materials in interior design.
•identify the major decorating styles and the unique characteristics of each style.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

A.TOPIC: Materials for interior design.

B. Instructional Material:
 PowerPoint

C. Lesson Proper

 The teacher will discuss the materials for interior design


 The teacher will ask if the students have any idea about the material that can be seen on
the screen.
 Activity

III. GROUP ACTIVITY

INSTRUCTION:
• We will be having two (2) groups.
• The first group will define 5 materials for interior design that can be seen on the screen and the
other group will also define the 5-interior design.
• You have only 15 minutes to prepare for your reporting, therefore each group should cooperate
as a team.
• After 15 minutes, the assigned group reporter(s) may begin to present their work.

What is the importance of learning the interior design?

IV. ASSIGNMENT:
Research on the other materials for interior design and their uses (internet resource).
