The Quantitative Data Obtained Through The Conduct of Survey Was Analyzed and Evaluated Using The Following Statistical Treatments

The document discusses several statistical treatments used to analyze quantitative survey data: 1) Frequency and percentage were used to determine the number and proportion of responses. 2) Average weighted mean determined the central tendency of responses assessed on a scale. 3) A four-point scale was used to rate responses which were interpreted as highly implemented, implemented, less implemented, or not implemented.

Statistical Treatment of Data

The quantitative data obtained through the conduct of survey was analyzed and evaluated using

the following statistical treatments:

Frequency. This was utilized to determine the actual number of responses to specific

questions or items in the questionnaire.

Percentage. The percentage formula was used to analyze and evaluate the data on the

profile of the respondents according to each description.

Following is the percentage formula:

F
P= _______ x 100
N
Where:

F = number of responses under a particular category

N = number of respondents

100 = constant factor

P = Percentage

The Average Weighted Mean (AWM) was used to determine the central tendency in relation to

the assessment of the respondents on issues that focused in the study. The AWM refers to the

accumulated responses which determined the corresponding weight using the formula below:

WM = ∑ fx
N

Where:

WM = weighted mean

∑ = summation of all scores

f = frequency obtained from the number of responses

x = weight of each value scale

N = total number of respondents

Four-point Scale. The researcher used a four-point Scale in rating the responses of the three

groups of respondents.

Legend

Weighted Mean Verbal Interpretation

3.50 - 4.00 Highly Implemented (HI)

2.50 - 3.49 Implemented (I)

1.50 - 2.49 Less Implemented (LI)

1.00 - 1.49 Not Implementation (NI)

Statistical Treatment
For a thorough analysis of the data, the following statistical techniques were employed.

Frequency data are culled, collated, and tabulated and frequencies determined.

Percentage – This was used to describe the relationship of a part to its whole. This was

mostly used in the description of the personal characteristics of the respondent, problems and

recommendations.

The formula is expressed below:

Where:

P = Symbol of Percentage

F = Number of Responses
N = Number of responses

Weighted mean – The likert method of scaling techniques assigns a scale venue to each of the
five (5) options.

This weighted mean points for each item was obtained by multiplying the sacle value of

responses by the total number of responses indicating it. Thee total weighted point was taken by

getting the sum of all weighted point for each value. Weighted mean of each item were obtained

by dividing the total weighted point by the total number of respondents.

Where:
Wm - weighted mean

Fw - frequency multiplied by the weight

N – total number of respondents

In analyzing the responses of the subject of this studyon the degree of compliance the five (5)
point scaled was used.
Weight Range Interpretation

1 0.6 – 1.5 Never

2 3.6 – 4.5 Seldom

3 2.6 – 3.5 Sometimes

4 3.6 – 4.5 Often

5 4.6 – above Always
