Fruitient is the vision of young entrepreneurs, and the name the proponents have given

to the business was inspired by the lure and allure of various drinks and beverages existing in

The primary capital of the business will be spent on the five necessary expenses of the

business (ingredients, place, manpower, miscellaneous and materials). The mentioned above

are essential for the business to produce their product which is fruit drinks. Products sold will

make income which will be spent to tax, upgrades and a portion will be added as capital.

In conducting this business plan, it will aim to achieve these objectives:

Satisfaction and Performance. Employees are the lifeblood of a business. Making sure

workers stay active drives sales and increase the satisfaction of customers. Measuring the

fulfillment of the workers and setting priorities for each team ensures quality and productivity. In

any business, the client is always a top priority. Moreover, our business periodically surveys our

customers to make sure they make the right impression and drive loyalty.

Quality. Our organization will ensure a consistent supply of valuable goods of fair quality

and at competitive prices especially in these trying times. Supplying adulterated goods, low-

quality goods, unusable, or dangerous items are counterproductive to the business’s survival. It

should be remembered that the consumer is now more informed and aware of the quality and

wants value for their money spent.

Earning. Earning profit is one of the business's key goals and is important for any

business to ensure its survival and growth. Profitability affects whether a business can expand

its business and whether the income generated by a business can be used to assess that

investment's success. Our business believes that one customer costs a million and we ensure

that we will serve wholeheartedly and earn profit at the same time.

Safety. Ensuring the health of customers and the health of employees is one of the

priorities of a business. Consumers want the items they use to be healthy in daily life.

Workplaces that ignore the prosecution of health and safety threats can lose employees, raise

costs, and reduce profitability. Hence, our business will uphold Enhanced Community

6
Guidelines and practice health safety and sanitation protocols in the workplace to prevent

acquiring diseases.

Innovation. One of the keywords an entrepreneur has to instill, especially in venturing

into the business industry, is innovation. In line with this, our business will be serving natural

products rich in nutrients and vitamins, giving numerous benefits to the consumers, which is

needed in the pandemic. Thus, Fruitrient will be committed to its pursuit of the priority of

everyone.

Today, more than ever, delivery services have been on the rise due to the rising number

of COVID-19 cases around the country. Many have acquired the disease, and all people are

always reminded and told to stay indoors. Of all the population, the elderly, as well as young

children, are more at risk. As a way to address one of the target market’s needs, Fruitrient

seized opportunities in every situation, and will offer door-to-door deliveries with a skilled

delivery-person geared with the necessary personal protective equipment and will undergo

proper sanitation to lessen the transmission of diseases. In this way, those who are not able to

go outside can still get the benefits of our products right at their doorsteps.

With the pandemic going on, one way people can help the health care system is by

staying healthy and do everything they can to boost their immune health. Hence, Fruitrient will

help people achieve optimal health by providing them with delicious and healthy drinks that both

refreshes and helps boost the immune system.

Also, many people have lost their jobs because of the pandemic wherein, few are only

hired in these times causing massive job unemployment. As a way to combat this issue,

Fruitrient offers jobs to qualified individuals so that they can earn in the midst of the pandemic.

Moreover, the product would be of great significance to the local fruit suppliers and let their

7
products be introduced in the market. Thus, The proponents believe that this will not only

address the health problems of the country but the agricultural economy as well.

Most vitamin supplements and health drinks are costly and made of additives and

preservatives, which could pose an imminent threat not on the immune system but to the other

parts of the body. With the implementation community quarantines, a large portion of the

population has been retrenched, left with minimal sources of income. These create a problem of

how normal working-class citizens, particularly the front liners who interact with various people

daily, can’t afford to buy supplements to increase their immunity from diseases. Fruitrient has

abled to solve the problem by proving cost-efficient products. Fruitrient is made from locally-

sourced fruits, the vitamins and minerals found is indeed an alternative to the expensive vitamin

products.

Parents usually find a hard time in making their children eat healthy vegetables and

fruits. This may cause them to have weaker immune systems and creates a risk of getting sick.

Fruitrient, with all its vitamins and minerals, can help in boosting the child’s immune system by

providing for them a delicious, sweet, and fruity drink that not only tastes good but also is very

healthy for the body. With no added artificial sweeteners, the drink is made with natural sugars

and is free from preservatives. And with three

flavors to choose from orange, mango, and apple,

it will certainly be a winner for every child’s

immune system and their taste buds.

Officially, the Municipality of Lupon, the

location of the business, is a first-class

municipality in the province of Davao Oriental,

8
Philippines comprising an approximate total population is 65,785 individuals. Thus, Market

Avenue is the exact place for our market where potential customers are more likely to visit. Also,

we are looking forward of supplying our products to grocery stores like Central Warehouse Club

and ER superstore, as well as the mini grocery stores like sari-sari stores to broaden the scope

of the target market, respectively.

VALUE PROPOSITION
Fruitrient

“Inumong natural ug malamian.”

Fruit drinks top the drinking trends of the individuals living in the Municipality of Lupon. In

line with this, Filipinos give so much value to their families, and to be in Filipino household

means a lot of bonding, travelling, laughing together, eating and drinking as well. Simply

speaking, whatever Filipinos do under the sun becomes so special when shared with the entire

family. Also, we are accustomed to the Filipino culture of having meriendas with our friends or

families and its pares to fill up the hunger. However, most of these are powdered, carbonated

and are of additional preservatives and additives that indirectly threaten to maintain optimal

health and well-being as we believe that we are what we eat/drink. In addition, to have this can

be costly as we put another charge for the delivery of we go to the store directly, which could be

a hassle for some with a limited budget.

At this moment, we prompt to spend most of our staycation at home as the CoViD-19

pandemic intensifies, and even indoors, the heat makes us feel more inconvenient. As a way to

satisfy our taste buds, we crave something new to guzzle up, cost-efficient, delicious and

healthy drinks for the body as we stress our health consciousness as a priority and quench our

thirst at the same time.

This strategic planning of the potential problem comes with the realization of Fruitrient to

seize the chance to address the mentioned deficiencies observed in the locality and at the same

time, accessible to all the target market. Moreover, our fruit drink will be made of 100% natural

and organic ingredients, further tested to ensure its quality. Also, our store will be committed to

providing quality service and providing free deliveries considering that they are located with the

vicinity of the business establishment and a slight charge of delivery fee in the far-reached

areas. Fruitrient’s store will be well-ventilated for the customers’ convenience. It will be crafted

with aesthetics to ensure that it is Instagrammable, which is one of the trends among

millennials, and it will be open from 7 A.M. to 8:30 P.M., respectively. The most daunting task

that Fruitrient has to face is to improvise its significant value proposition and fully realize it

towards the target market—the Luponians.

Business Name
The establishment will be named Fruitrient. As each word has a value meaning that

emphasizes how we express worth to the customer's satisfaction and happiness in every sip.

We, proponents, combined two words to derive the business name. These are from the words

"fruit" as the main ingredient in our product where in fact it supports local fruit suppliers in the

municipality of Lupon by patronizing their products in the local market and thus contributing to

the economy, and "nutrient" because of its purposiveness in these times where we stress great

importance of a strong immune system and acquiring optimal health and well-being.

Business Logo

31
The photo depicted above is about the business logo of Fruitrient which emphasizes the

three main fruits which will be used all throughout the business process namely, orange, apple

and mango. The proponents used vibrant colors and an attractive font as a surefire way to

entice the potential target market and the packaging is based on the logo however, it varies in

accordance to their respective flavors.
