1.0 SCOPE and PURPOSE
This document defines the standard procedure for the configuration of the Ethernet/IP software
option for the DX200.

2.0 MATERIALS
2.1 Software accessory: 168183-1
2.2 DX200 Manual, Ref. P/N: 165838-1CD
2.3 Sticker (168729-1) included with 168183-1

3.0 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS


3.1 DX200 software version DN1.05-00 or later
3.2 Ladder modification – No
3.3 Other EtherNet communications like Weldcom should be enabled prior to executing
this option’s installation.

4.0 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Start up in Maintenance mode, enter Yaskawa mode using appropriate security measures.

2. Enter the following parameters first:

3. Select “System” -> “Setup”

4. Curser down to “Option Function” and press “Select”.

5. Scroll down until you find Ethernet/IP (CPU board). Then highlight “Detail” and press
“Select”.

6. Highlight ‘Detail’ for Ethernet/IP (CPU Board) and press “Select”.

7. Highlight ‘Detail’ for Ethernet and press “Select”.

8. Highlight “Detail” on the host setup and press “Select”.

9. Then scroll to IP address and press “Select”. Then type “192.168.1.31” and press “Enter”.
Scroll down to Subnet Mask and press “Select”. Then type “255.255.255.0” and press “Enter”.
Then press “Enter” to exit the screen.

10. Press “Enter”. Curser down to “Adapter” and press “Select”.

11. Change the values as indicated below.

Suggested Default Settings:
● Change ADAPTER from DISABLE to ENABLE
● Input size 8 byte
● Output size 8 byte
● Configuration size to 0 word
● Input instance to 50
● Output instance to 100
● Configuration instance to 150

12. Select the Ethernet/IP(CPU board) and change it to “USED”.

13. Press “Enter” to receive the “Modify” prompt. Select “YES”.

14. Verify that the Ethernet/IP CPU is installed to station #15.
Ex: Bit Count = (8 status bits + 64 bits for Slave I/O = 72 bits)

15. Press “ENTER” to receive the “Modify” prompt. Select “YES”.

16. Cycle power after establishing all settings.

5.0 STICKER
5.1 Confirm Molex license sticker details, prior to applying the sticker:
P/N: 1121065039
YEC EtherNet/IP License - YEC-EIP-SCA-L
5.2 Record Serial# of Sticker in Step 6.
5.3 Apply license sticker above CPU as shown:
