Material Approval - Check Material approval.
- Check approved profiles, accessories ,sealant and
glass
Shop drawing - Check shop drawing. Elevations details, work profile,
Approval fixation details as per the approved.
Incoming material - Check and ensure that all delivered materials
inspection & including profiles, Glass (spec/Color), Sealant
protection conform as approved material submittal.
- Check if the profiles has protective tape for
protection
- Check and ensure that all delivered Glass is
stamped as tempered, and free of distortion or free
of scratch.
Mock up approval - Verify if the materials used for mock up are the
approved materials
- Check if mock up is approved
Preparation - Check the measurements from actual structures and
verify prior to fabrication
- Check the layout ,levels & dimensions of opening as
per approved shop drawing & schedules
- Check the wall surface to be coated with paint or
finish as per the finishing schedule prior t installation
- Beam surface (behind spandrel glass) are applied
with two coats of approved damp proofing material.
In process - Check all alignment. Anchoring and fixation.
inspection - Check the distance between alum section and wall
to be as approved shop drawing.
- Check work to be protected during installation of
sealant.
- Check all accessories, fixation of HW are fixed
- Check the cutting of HW shall be exactly as HW
Template
- Check gaskets, Rockwool, Alum Plate and
silicon/Sealant works as per the approved material.
- Check the sealant applied is free of defect and
followed as per manufacturer’s recommendations.
Final Inspection/ - After installation of aluminum, remove protective
Cleaning coverings thoroughly clean and polish metal
- When work or building is completed, clean metal and
glass
- Check the glass direction in /out
