ABSENT:

Upon motion of Councilor Jelian Pangatungan, duly seconded, the following ordinance was enacted:

SK ORDINANCE NO. 012

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED


EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS (P480,000.00), OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAYBE
NECESSARY FOR THE PURCHASE OF SPORTS EQUIPMENTS TO BE USED IN
HONNING THEIR SKILLS AS PREPARATION FOR THE SK SUMMER LEAGUE
2022

WHEREAS, the physical, mental and social development and welfare of the
youth are in the priority list of projects of Sangguniang Kabataan of Maribago;

WHEREAS, the city youth development program, through sports competition, also teaches the
young of the positive values of sportsmanship, fair play, team work and hard work that will mold
them to become more responsible and competitive citizens

WHEREAS, uniforms are necessary for the use of the participants during the
competition.;

WHEREAS, theSK SUMMER LEAGUE, which co-insides with the summer vacation, is
also designed to keep the youth busy during the lazy days of school break away from vices and illegal
drug.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, AS IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE


SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF MARIBAGO, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:
Section 1 - The amount of Four Hundred Eight Thousand Pesos (480,000.00) or so much
thereof as may be necessary is hereby appropriated for the purchase of sports uniforms for
participating youths to be used during the SK Summer League.

Section 2 – The appropriated amount shall be taken from the Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program based on the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan
Funds of the Office of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

Section 3 – The disbursement of the aforementioned funds shall be subject to all


legal, auditing rules and procedures.

Section 4 – This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
