quart per hour for LEAP-1A, perform the following:
i. Raise NTC effective for 2 days for monitoring, to identify oil consumption
exceeding the limit.
ii. If the oil consumption rate is below the limit within 2 days, no maintenance
action is required.
iii. For CFM56-5B, if the oil consumption rate within 2 days maintain at or over
0.6 quart per hour, perform TSM task 79-00-00-810-818 for Engine 1 or TSM

16, 17 Drain water from wing tanks and center tank at water drain valves (stationary aircraft for
at least one hour).
Note: If the aircraft has been refueled just before performing this check, delay water
drain of the fuel tanks as long as possible to allow water to settle out.
After drainage, make sure that the drain valves are correctly closed and not leaking.
3.1 In freezing conditions, drain the potable water system and the toilet waste tank. Service
before aircraft departure.
15 3.2 Make sure that the potable water system is serviced as required.
Note: The presence of air leak indicates that the overflow valve (8MP) is in open position.
CAUTION: HOT AIR MAY COME OUT FROM THE OVERFLOW VALVE OUTLET PORT IF
OVERFLOW VALVE IS OPEN.
