Project Zumba Narrative Report

Pag-asa Elementary School in Bataan, Philippines held a Brigada Eskwela 2022 event called "Project ZUMBA" on August 8th. The event started with the national anthem and a prayer, followed by welcome messages. A Zumba instructor then led the group in an energetic Zumba dance fitness session. Participants enjoyed the fun workout and prizes were awarded to best dancers. The active community event promoted physical fitness and health through dance.

BRIGADA Eswela 2022 “Project ZUMBA”


“Zumayaw Bawat Isa”

When one thinks of the best way to achieve physical fitness, Zumba is always on the
top of the list. The fantastic workout grows in popularity more and more every single day.

Zumba is an exercise fitness program which involves dance and aerobic movements
performed to energetic music. Aerobics exercise reduces health risks, keeps excess pound at
bay, strengthens one’s heart and boosts one’s mood. This extremely fun workout incorporates
lot routines that improve the cardiovascular systems, and beyond.

On August 8, 2022, Project ZUMBA of Brigada Eskwela 2022 commenced at exactly


8 o’clock in the morning and participated by the faculty, PTA Officers, Barangay Officials,
parents and learners of Pag-asa Elementary School. It started with the singing of the National
Anthem through Audio-Visual Presentation followed by a prayer led by Ma’am Carina R.
Ramos.

After the preliminaries, Mrs. Carina R. Ramos, Brigada Coordinator share her
welcome message to all participants who joined the program. Right after her message,
Sanguniang Barangay gave their support by shared the message from Konsehal Gloria T.
Sayas, Committee on Education. We also invited a Zumba instructor, Mr. Rizalito
Buensuceso who led the activity.

The activity turned out really enjoyable and fun, prizes were given to all participants
such as Best in Zumba Wear, Best Zumba Dancer (Parent and Student) and Best in Hataw
Galaw and also received their additional awards.

Everyone showed their active participation and cooperation in this healthy activity
because we believe in the saying that “Health is Wealth”
