WELL INTERVENTION OVERVIEW

 All operation done on (or in) a live

or dead well without pulling out of
hole tubing hanger

 During live well operation pressure

control equipment continuously
exposed to well pressure. As
contrary to drilling or workover
where pressure control equipment is
a back up and the main barrier is
drilling fluid or workover fluid

 During operation all standard safety

devices are disabled (downhole
safety valve, Xmas tree valves)
