API Hydrotest

The bottom welds and plates shall be examined visually for any potential defects and leaks. The tank shall be filled to half of the final filling height at the maximum filling rate (dependent on the subsoil conditions and settlement behavior during hydro testing) After completion of the roof, the shell shall be filled with fresh water (the required water quality shall be agreed by the COMPANy) in either of the following Hydrostatic methods.
