Oblique Projection - Technical Drawing - 2020

Oblique projection is an alternative to isometric projection where one face of the object is drawn in its true shape rather than foreshortened. There are two types: cabinet, where the sides are drawn at 45 degrees and lengths halved to appear correct, and cavalier, where the entire object is drawn at its true size with sides angled at 45, 30, or 60 degrees. The document provides instructions for completing oblique projection drawings of blocks and converting them to orthographic multi-view projections. Figures demonstrate oblique projection techniques and examples of the assignment.
