Based on your reading or videos you have seen (Science Documentary 2016 - The Math Mystery
Mathematics in Nature and Universe – YouTube and Nature by Numbers) write an essay for each of the
following questions. Make sure to also discuss the connection of the topic to your essay writing.

1. What is mathematics all about?

Basically, Mathematics is the science and study of quality, structure, space, and change.
Mathematicians seek out patterns, formulate new conjectures, and establish the truth by rigorous deduction
from appropriately chosen axioms and definitions. It relates to nature and the universe because math
discovered this matter by simply getting the size, and their patterns and identifying the structure.
2. What is the importance of mathematics in your life?

Mathematics is just a simple intellectual capability of a person who deals with everyday challenges
in life mathematics helps us have better problem-solving skills, help us to think analytically, and have
better reasoning that molds us to be more creative and intelligent. And also mathematics can be applied
anywhere or in anything that happens around us that is why mathematics is important in our daily life so
we need to learn at least basic mathematics.
