Describe the Parts of reproductive system and their functions. S10LT-IIIa-33
CSE Integration:
Differentiate between sexual and reproductive functions that are biological; and those that
are willed or desired, according to rights.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of discussion, the students will be able to:
a. Identify the parts of the male and female Reproductive system;
b. Describe the parts of the reproductive system and it’s functions; and
c. Appreciate the value of having a healthy body.

IV. PROCEDURE:
ELICIT
Guess What Activity 1
Present the images of the different organ system in our body. Let them guess what it is. The
first to stand and guess the correct answer will get 5 point each.
ENGAGE
The teacher emphasizes that among the organ system in our body, the lesson focus on the
male and female reproductive system.
Begin the lesson by presenting the images in ppt
Ask: What things come into your mind first?
Ask: How old are you when you notice some changes in your body? Do you have some
questions raised in your mind that you are afraid to ask? Are you curious of what happens in your
body?
EXPLORE
Group the students (according to their level of interest/intelligence). Use the group
checklist to monitor student’s performance during the group activity.
1- color the male and female reproductive organ
2- cut out the reproductive organs and paste it in the reproductive organ template
3- (composed of female only)- watch a video about the male reproductive system and
present it in the class on the format of their choice\
4- (composed of male only)- watch a video about female reproductive system and
present it in the class on the format of their choice
(You can use your cellphone, any available object, present a jingle, poem, graphic organizer etc)
Note to Teacher:
The teacher will give a concrete knowledge with the lessons among students, that
will lead to correct attitudes and responsible behavior in learning this sensitive topic. The
teacher will use proper words to avoid misinterpretation and to protect the learners
against sexual/ reproductive problems and diseases.
EXPLAIN
Explain the topic using the following guide questions:
1. What are the parts of the male reproductive system?
2. What are the parts of the female reproductive system?
3. What are the functions of each part?
4. What is the main function of the reproductive system in our body?

topic, so they are expected to vocalize their thoughts and build their confidence and
success of learning.
ELABORATE
1. As a Grade 10 student, how important to you is knowing your own body parts especially
your reproductive organs?
2. How can you relate this topic in your MAPEH subject on topic such as reproductive
diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, and teenage pregnancy?
EVALUATE
Direction: Identify the parts of the male and female reproductive system based on the given
structure or function.
1. What is the male reproductive organ that produces the sperm cells?
2. What part of the female reproductive organ where baby grows up to 9 months?
3. What are the two male reproductive organs that produce most of the fluids that make up the
semen?
