DEFINITIONS:
Inspection and/or Test: A stage in the works where inspection and/or testing are performed b personnel whose responsibility it is to determine the acceptability of products or services and to record
inspection and test data
Hold Point: The Contractor shall not proceed with the work without the Inspection/Testing authority being present, except where the Inspection/Testing authority has notified the Contractor,
in writing, that it may proceed
Witness Point: If the Inspection/Testing authority is not present at the designated time and place, the Contractor shall continue with the inspection and/or tests as
defined. Surveillance: The continuing evaluation of procedures and analysis of records to assure that quality requirements will be met.
Review: The process of verifying by examination of documentary evidence that nominated inspections and/or tests have been satisfactorily conducted
