FS1 Ep13

The document summarizes an observation of a physical education class assessing student learning outcomes. The PE teacher's assessment task of having students perform push-ups, long jumps, and sets/reaches was aligned to the learning outcome of performing those skills. If assessment tasks are not aligned to learning outcomes, it could confuse students and affect assessment results. Assessment tasks should be aligned to learning outcomes to effectively evaluate student understanding. The observer analyzed the use of traditional assessment tools like multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Students interviewed preferred the new grading system as it focuses more on their academic performance.
