Dimensions Assignment

1. This document provides 19 numerical problems involving dimensional analysis and significant figures. The problems derive equations relating physical quantities based on their dimensions, convert between units, and perform calculations while properly handling significant figures. 2. Example problems include deriving an expression for the time period of a planet's orbit based on gravitational constants and deriving relations for lift force on an aircraft wing and viscosity of a gas in terms of variables like velocity, density, diameter and temperature. 3. Calculations with significant figures involve adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing numbers as well as determining the number of significant figures and properly rounding numbers.
