PARADE of Careers: Dear students, and fellow teachers, a blessed rainy morning to all of you. I am very ecstatic to see all of you dear students, dressed in your chosen future profession, you all look dashing in your career attires. So, with that, before the program proper, we will now be witnessing one of the highlights of this event, the parade of careers. With this, may I request the students to please line up at the back and brandish your outfits as you walk to the front. I will call first the Grade 10 students followed by the grade 12- say your name and your chosen profession. There you have it, what a show! At the end of the program, we will be awarding the top 5 Best in Career attire, so stay back and enjoy yourselves as we learn new things from our resource speaker, who will be with us moments from now. Ladies and gentlemen, as we are about to begin, please be seated. Kindly switch your mobile phones into silent mode to avoid interruption. Thank you for your kind cooperation and attention. One of the most successful basketball star players of all time, Michael Jordan, once said “I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games 26 times. I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life, and that is why I succeed.” Hence, success comes from taking the initiative – following up- persisting and never giving up. The first step is choosing a goal and sticking with that goal or career path no matter how many failures may hinder you. Once again, ladies and gentlemen, a wonderful Thursday morning to all of you!
