1. Building school environment that is Islamic and has noble character.
2. Integrating and realizing religious values in the students’ life.
3. Developing all students’ potentials optimally in both academic and non-academic fields.
4. Integrating faith and piety, and knowledge and science in the teaching learning process.
5. Developing the potentials which foster international-mindedness.
6. Fulfilling the standard of graduate competencies based on the national standard.
7. Growing the achieving spirit continuously to all school society.
8. Building self-concepts based on students’ talents and interests.
9. Developing a teaching-learning process that is active, innovative, creative, and fun to develop
students’ potentials optimally.

learning for teachers, students, and all school society.

C. Values
ABBS values are core to every action we take and every program we apply:
1. Piety
Learners implement values of religion of Islam in their daily life. They understand the
concept of Islam and apply the values inside and outside the school. In the future they are
expected to always hold religiousness values as one of the ways of their life and to build
their good personality as a fundamental asset to create quality human resources.
2. Nationalism
SMA ABBS always instills the nationalism values to each learner. We educate them to
love Indonesia and give their best support and contribution to our beloved country to face
globalization era.

3. Confidence
Confident personality contributes a lot in the growth and development of a learner.
Through our programs such as extracurricular activities, class meetings, and English
Camp in which the learners perform their hobbies, talents, and interests we build strong
confident personality.

4. Honesty
We believe that honesty is the best policy. Someone who is honest is reliable and can be
trusted by everyone. This honest personality is important to be cultivated to our learners.
Therefore, we try our best attempts through creating the conditions in which the students
show their honesty in the daily life.

5. Discipline
Discipline takes a big portion of the ways to create a successful learning. We cultivate
this attitude from the beginning when the learners start their learning in ABBS until the
very end of the time when they have to finish studying in ABBS because they graduate.
We believe that this cultivation will sharpen their good personality traits as an important
asset to continue the development of Indonesia.

6. Responsibility
Being responsible is very important to be built in our learner’s personality trait.
Responsibility helps the learners to achieve their life purposes. They will be more
prepared in the future amidst adversity on individual, society, or world level.

7. Independence
Independence is a fundamental value to instill as it prepares the learner to not dependent
to the others or certain conditions. We believe that with the independence values that the
learners have, they will be able to optimize their own strengths and abilities to overcome
most difficult situation that they may encounter.
8. Achievement
We promote our students to gain the achievement as many as possible as the way to
improve their hobbies, talents and interests. We respect every student’s talents and
intelligences. Therefore, we encourage them to explore their talents and interests through
various competitions to reach their own achievements in which it can be the student’s and
school’s pride.
