Easy Ii: Maintenance Help Document: Fsa-00-30-004-R04-A

This document provides guidance to maintenance technicians for Dassault Falcon aircraft equipped with EASy II avionics. It addresses issues organized by applicable avionics load and ATA classification. Items include the CVR displaying an error message that can be disregarded and a potential 20 degree difference between the standby instrument and primary flight displays due to magnetic field conditions without a flag being displayed. The purpose is to help technicians properly understand and troubleshoot airplane systems and identify normal system behavior.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An analysis of fleet events shows that in some situations:
 Airplane system issues have not been properly understood,
 The most appropriate troubleshooting action was not taken, or
 Normal airplane system behavior was not perceived as normal.
In order to help maintenance technicians dealing with such situations, Dassault has designed a Falcon
Service Advisory (FSA) entitled Maintenance Help Document. This Maintenance Help Document is a living
document which uses feedback from the field as its main input.
The purpose of this HELP document is to:
 Provide helpful information and general guidance to the operators,
 Optimize the proper troubleshooting analysis.

This FSA / Maintenance Help Document provide guidance to each airplane configuration described in each
APPLICABILITY section.
