Project 1: Data Migration from Oracle DB to Snowflake

Data Migration is one of the common operations performed in Snowflake. Oracle is a widely used RDBMS
to host enterprise data and is associated with a significant amount of licensing cost, software, and
hardware setup. Performing analytical operations on Oracle incurs additional tools and is associated
with high licensing costs.
The major goal of data migration from the Oracle database to Snowflake is to reduce the cost and
operational burden of OLAP database systems. In this project, our instructor guides you to migrate data
from the oracle database to snowflake using a step by step process. This will give you clear knowledge
to work on your future data migration projects and also you can keep this as your project and explain it
in your interview.
Project 2: Data Transformation using Informatica Cloud
In order to perform analytical functions, the data must be in an organized and accessible format to get
better results. In general, businesses hold data that is unstructured and difficult to access. Data
transformation is a process to structure, format, and change the value of data.
In this data transformation project, we will perform various data transformation operations such as
extraction, translation, mapping, filtering, aggregation, modeling, renaming, and a lot more functions
using Informatica Cloud.
