Work Breakdown Structure
Work Breakdown Structure
The implementation of the work can be functionally divided into following levels:
The above high-level functionalities can be divided into following low level elements:
Technical feasibility
A survey states that Indian railway has very high technical infrastructure and its open to test and
adopt the latest technologies for its growth. Hence, The product autonomous mobile robot is
technically feasible to Indian railway since it already has:
Hence the proposed solution is technically feasible since it can be developed from the existing
resources available with Indian railways.
Operational Feasibility
Indian railway is one of the highly employed government organization that includes all
categories of workers i.e., trackman, Mechanics, electrical technicians, software management
persons therefore the solution is operationally feasible and can be easily handled with little
training on the robot for its upgradation and maintenance.
The developed solution will help all segment of individual in monitoring the track health and
smooth movement of trains.
The make in India has opened up lot of opportunities to develop any high level technologies
locally. Hence the solution can be easily manufactured in India.
12. Compatibility of proposed Product/Technology with existing assets & system of working
Although the proposed solution is unique of its kind but it can be built on existing track
inspection car. Since the solution claims to be autonomous there is no need of man to be on car.
Hence the solution is more secured and can be implemented with existing railway infrastructures.
The proposed solution has got high adoptability chances since the part of the solution * is
already present with Indian railway. And with little investment it can be easily adapted with
existing scenario.
14. The company has high experience with autonomous mobile robots, computer vision and deep
learning algorithms.
