GROOVENUE - Music Ticket Ordering App

The ticket ordering app project aimed to enhance concert discoverability and accessibility by addressing pain points users experienced on existing platforms. User research revealed that users wanted more event information and visualization to help decide and imagine concerts. The designer created a sitemap, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with a focus on usability, accessibility, and creating a cohesive experience across devices. User testing provided positive feedback on the intuitive interface and navigation. The project helped the designer gain expertise in designing for different screen sizes and tools like Figma and Adobe XD.

User Research
Summary

Through user interviews and empathy mapping, I gained valuable insights into the
target users and their needs for the music ticket ordering website/app.

I discovered that many users attend concerts to enjoy live music or spend quality
time with friends as a thrilling and enjoyable experience. However, existing websites
often overwhelm and confuse them, leading to frustration.

Additionally, these platforms lack a clear focus on selling music tickets, offering
various types of tickets instead. This creates confusion for music enthusiasts who
simply seek a straightforward way to find and purchase tickets for live music
experiences.

Digital Wireframe

When moving from paper to digital wireframes, I

found that the smaller size of the paper wireframes
led to blank areas in the digital version. Therefore, I
maximized the content presented.
