Document Proposal
1.0 INTRODUCTION
So, the purpose of this document/proposal was done is to provide a brief overview of the plan to
organise a charity concert in order to raise money for children's hospital. The estimate income and
total cost involved were included in this proposal. This concert will be conducted and managed by
members of Community Service Club of UiTM Pahang Kampus Jengka. The profits that we
earned from the concert will be distributed and donated fairly to Tunku Azizah Hospital (Kuala
Lumpur Women and Children Hospital), Kuala Lumpur.
A charity event for a children's hospital can help raise funds to provide medical care, support, and
resources to children who are facing health challenges. These events can help to ensure that
children receive the best possible care and treatment, regardless of their family's financial
situation. Additionally, charity events can raise awareness about the importance of supporting
children's health and wellbeing.
Furthermore, charity events can help bring communities together and foster a sense of solidarity
and compassion. These events can create a positive impact on the community by promoting a
culture of giving and service. By supporting a children's hospital, you can help ensure that
children have access to the care they need to thrive and live healthy lives.
After having discussions among the members, we decided to invite Bunkface to come over and
help us achieve our dreams. Bunkface is a Malaysian rock band formed in 2006. The band
consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sam, bass guitarist Youk, and lead guitarist Paan.
This proposal is then submitted to UiTM Pahang Management to get the approval and for further
prompt action.
The objectives of making a charity concert to help a children's hospital can include:
The target audience for a concert is the group of people that the concert is intended to attract. The
target audience can vary depending on the type of music being performed, the location of the
concert, and the purpose of the concert. For example, if the concert is meant to raise money for a
children's hospital, the target audience may be families with young children. It's important to
identify your target audience to effectively market and promote the concert.
So, in this case, since this charity concert will be held at Dewan Indera Segera, UiTM Pahang
Kampus Jengka, the targeted audiences will likely be students, faculty members, lecturers, staffs,
local residents, and their families. In addition to these, we may also want to consider targeting
music fans in the surrounding areas, such as nearby university, towns, or cities. We could promote
the concert through local radio stations or social media channels to reach a wider audience.
Additionally, we could consider partnering with local businesses or organizations to help promote
the concert to their customers or members.
The Community Service Club of UiTM Pahang Kampus Jengka is excited to be managing the
upcoming concert. Our club's mission is to give back to the community by organizing events and
activities that promote social welfare and community service. We believe that the concert will be
a great opportunity to bring together people involved for a night of entertainment and fun.
Our club members have experience in event planning, marketing, and volunteer coordination, and
we are committed to making the concert a success. We will be responsible for managing ticket
sales, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring that the event runs smoothly. We are confident that
our skills and expertise will be an asset to the concert planning process.
We are excited to be a part of this event and look forward to working with the other organisers to
make it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Based on our estimated revenue of RM92,000 and total expenses of RM31,500, we anticipate a
profit of RM60,500 for the charity concert. These expenses include performers payment,
administration cost, marketing budgets, merchandise, securities, and other miscellaneous
expenses. A detailed list of the expenses is provided in the table below:
Cost Estimated Value (RM) Ticket Price (RM) Total Ticket Sold

5.0 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, our proposal to host a charity concert for the children's hospital is an opportunity to
make a positive impact on the lives of sick children and their families. We believe that this event can
bring the community together to support a worthy cause and raise funds for the hospital. The concert
will feature local musicians and performers, creating an entertaining and enjoyable experience for
attendees. We plan to sell tickets to the event, as well as offer sponsorship opportunities for local
businesses.
The funds raised from the concert will be donated to the children's hospital to support their ongoing
efforts to provide quality care to sick children. We believe that this event can make a significant
difference in the lives of these children and their families, and we encourage you to consider our
proposal and take action to help make this event a success.
We are confident in our ability to plan and execute a successful charity concert, and we are committed
to working closely with the hospital and local businesses to ensure that the event is a positive and
memorable experience for all involved. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and
we look forward to working with you to make a difference in the lives of these children.
