Okay. . . (name of your trainee (katong ni check og YES sa SAC)). I noticed that you check Yes on the
competency Set-up computer network (pili ra unsa imong competency), so tomorrow bring any certificate
so that we can validate if you’re competent in setting-up computer network.

checklist, so you will undergo all the module or competency of CSS NCII, okay?

Orientation

(Turn on the projector)

So now we will proceed with the General Trainees Orientation. So first in this training we don’t use the
traditional method of teaching rather we adapt CBT or Competency Based Training which means it focuses on
outcomes rather than the learning process within specific time(dagkan pa ning meaning and cbt tan.awa ra
sa module-plan training session).

There are 10 principles of CBT (ipakita sa power point presentation ang 10 principle) (3 ra ang e.explain).
Example of this principles are (1) Training is based on competency standard, if we say competency standard it
is a written documents that specify the knowledge, skills, attitudes required by the industry which means if we
say based on competency standard so the training is based or anchored on actual industry practice; (2) Training
delivery is individualize or self-paced which means that every trainee can advance without waiting for his/her
colleague or other trainees as; (3) Allow Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) which means this training
recognize the competencies that is acquired through previous training, employment and life experience, so if
you have the knowledge and skill of a certain competency you will not be doing the learning activity of that
competency.

Role of Trainee(PowerPoint presentation, explain only 3)

So as a trainee you have role in this training, some examples are (1) Trainees may select what to learn and
when they want to learn it, within reason , how they want to learn and learn at their own pacing within
program guidelines. (2) Compete against present job standards(not against other students) and graded on
achievement of the standards or criteria of each task. (3) Evaluate their own progress
Role of Trainer(PowerPoint presentation, explain only 3)

And of course as a your trainer I also have a role, some examples are (1) Trainers guide students how to
learn. (2) Stimulates trainees motivation. (3) Assist learners to obtain individualized rewards.

Orientation about the Qualification (PowerPoint presentation)

So you are all enrolled in Computer System Servicing NC II that is under the Electronic Sector, it is a 280 hours
training and it is divided into Basic, Common and Core Competencies, in Basic we have 4 competencies,
common we have 7 competencies and Core we have 4 competencies namely Install and Configure Computer
System, Set-up Computer Network, Set-up Computer Servers and lastly Maintain and Repair Computer System
and Network.

(So that’s all, any question or clarification?)

Conduct Pre-test

So now I will give you Pre-test . . . okay? (Adlib??). . . . . . . . . . So this is a 50 item test, answer this within 1
hour. (Collect the pre-test)

Tour on 9 areas of CBT Stations

(Give your trainee a tour)

So now we begin our training (Hand over the trainees training activity matrix)

(For trainee without RPL)

Good Morning (Name of your trainee), since you check all NO in the Self-Assessment Check yesterday so it

Resource Area. .the first module is about Installing and Configuring Computer System. Here is the CBLM
(Hand over the CBLM). (So the CBLM or Competency Based Learning Material is your guide throughout the
whole training, in there you can find all the necessary information and task about the competency that you are
currently training for). So now turn to page 5 of your CBLM there you can find the first Information Sheet
