V. Rationale:
School Disaster Risk Reduction Management is an integral part of all
educational institution. It sought to ensure school safety and
preparedness to all type hazards to create a safe learning environment
for the learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and community.
It is not limited in assessing the risk brought about by calamities,
making plan and to reduce the risk, prepare to respond and ensure
educational continuity, but constituted with activities such as Student
Led School Watching, Hazard Mapping, and succeeded with the
psychological First Aid and Psychosocial Support activities as its
counterpart to the physiological aspect of an institution throughout the
school year.

To make these into realization, it is part of our goal to support the


installed programs of activities by providing sustainable resources to
ensure the success and fulfillment of its primary purpose, and that is
to preserve lives.

VI. Project Objectives:


This project aims to:
1. improve the service rendered by the school DRRM within its area of
responsibility;
2.Increase the participation of learners, school personnel, parents,
government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders in addressing
potential disasters by reducing vulnerabilities; and
