The document compares characteristics of Eastern and Western cultures. In the East, people are more conservative and traditional, prioritizing family and elders. Freedom may be more restricted. Teachings are more practical. Countries in the East are less developed than in the West technologically. The analysis agrees that there are differences between Eastern and Western cultures, with the East being more emotional and traditional, focusing on continuity of the past. The Philippines shares similarities with other East Asian countries in being family-oriented, respectful of elders, and engaging in practices like the mano po to show respect. While cultures vary between nations, Asian countries generally value kindness, tolerance, and politeness.

ANALYSIS

My sincere opinion is that it is. I fully agree with the distinctions between the
West and the East. The nations of the East and the West are blatantly ideologically
opposed to one another, particularly in terms of culture and society. Even though I have
never been to a Western country, the films and television shows I watch have given me
a good understanding of how they live. Streaming videos on YouTube and books are
other options. I suppose I could say that the West is logical and the East is emotional.
The culture of the East is frequently founded on the continuation of our shared past.
There are cultural differences between nations and between regions. No two cultures
can be identical.
In the world's east is where the Philippines are located. I can claim from the
comparison that the Philippines, one of our neighboring countries, has similar
characteristics, a similar culture, and similar traditions. showing ties to one's family or
barangay or respect for elders, for example While Japan and Korea use the bow,
Thailand uses the wai. There is a mano po system in the Philippines. As a sign of
respect, this action is taken. Even Indonesia, where it is known as salim, engages in this
practice. This is how neighbors interact with one another. We are also conservative and
emotional people. We are all devoted to our families. Asian nations all have similar
personalities when it comes to being kind, tolerant, laid back, and polite most of the
time.
As such, there are variations among nations or ethnic groups. For instance, the spoken
dialects, well-known folklore, popular local goods, festivals, etc. The dialect is now very
different if we simply move to a different city.
