Packet Organization
Options Everywhere

This packet is not designed to be printed out in its entirety.

Throughout the packet there are materials for teachers looking

for NO PREP, those with time for LOW PREP, and even those able
to prep for CENTERS.
The reason so many activities and options are included is so
that you can pick and choose what works best and print those
materials out.

Color / Black and White

Sometimes I include color versions of things like booklet covers

and centers. They are not different, there is just a choice of
whether to print in color or use the B&W. Color options are
located at the end of the packet near the answer keys.
For an added POP of color for B&W centers, use astrobrights or
other colored paper to print select materials onto. Especially if
you are planning on laminating any of the student resources.
It’s a fun, relatively low cost pop of color.

Answer Keys

Answer Keys are located at the end of the packet.

Vocabulary Suggestions
For the chapter specific materials: 3
vocabulary words are usually included for each
chapter.

Students can find the vocabulary word in

the story and record the full sentence/how
it was used in the book on the form.

Students can use the included vocabulary

cards as a vocabulary center. Students
match the vocabulary word to the
definition card and then record it’s
definition on the form.

Students can write their own sentence

using the word on the form.

There are also pages with the most important

vocabulary words from the entire book. These
have the book title on the top instead of the
chapter numbers.
