Composing an Application Letter for Employment
I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
K- Identify the parts of a cover letter and explain the process of writing it;
S- write an application letter applying the content and tips for writing application
letter for employment; and
A- appreciate the use and importance of application letter for employment.

Laptop, Cartolina, pentil pen, worksheets and scoring rubrics.

III. PROCEDURE

- Close by thanking the reader and
requesting an interview.

5. Complimentary Close
-is used to end the letter in a
courteous manner. The complimentary
closure is separated by a comma (,)

Identification
- This is considered as the last part of
the letter. Write your name on the first
line and your title (if applicable) on the
second line. Then sign it directly above
the first line.
