condition of business owners in the tourism and hospitality sectors has worsened as a
result of this pandemic (Gursoy & Chi, 2020; Hospitality Net, 2020; Qiu et al., 2020).All
tourist businesses experienced major income losses and a spike in unemployment as a
result of the abrupt decline in demand for travel and tourism-related activities.

and secondary sources, including websites on COVID-19 incidents in tourism as well as
journals, newspapers, and statistics data received from international tourism
organizations. The pandemic had a very negative impact on jobs and tourism. Airlines
have cancelled flights, and hotels are nearly empty; as a result, supporting tourism
businesses will suffer significant financial losses and job losses. This study creates a
framework and recovery strategy for the tourist industry under the motto, "Put people
first and travel tomorrow."
Action plan
Additionally, several nations are currently creating policies to create a tourism industry
that is more resilient after COVID-19. Creating measures to aid in the tourism industry's
sustainable recovery, supporting the switch to a more eco-friendly digital system, and
rethinking tourism for the future are a few of them.preserving historical, cultural, and
religious sites, starting clean-up campaigns, reducing internal strife, and giving them
facilities and protection.The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the efforts taken to
stop its spread have had a significant negative impact on the tourism industry.
According to updated forecasts, the possible shock might result in a 60–80% fall in the
global tourism industry in 2020, depending on how long the crisis lasts. In addition to
the short-term steps being taken to support the tourism industry, nations are also
focusing on creating recovery strategies. These include ideas for removing travel
restrictions, regaining travelers' trust, and reevaluating the tourism industry going
forward.
