What is the difference between KITCHEN SAFETY and FOOD SAFETY?


Kitchen Safety is ….
● Kitchen safety primarily revolves around preventing accidents and injuries in the kitchen. It includes precautions such as
proper handling of sharp objects, safe use of appliances, and precautions against fires and burns. Kitchen safety ensures
that individuals can cook without risking any physical harm.

Food Safety is …
● Food safety is about safe handling and the preparation of food to prevent illnesses. It focuses on hygiene, proper food
storage, and cooking practices that eliminate harmful bacteria. In short, kitchen safety safeguards against immediate
physical harm, while food safety safeguards against hidden health risks associated with improperly handled food.
