Quality Objective

 Up gradation of teaching facilities through addition of teaching aids

andequipment.
 Up gradation of faculty through enhancement of their knowledge by
upgrading the academic qualification, interaction with industry, through
seminars, custom paper writing, visits,etc.
 To measure students satisfaction level periodically through student
feedback reports, student placements through campus interviews and
overall success in universityexaminations.
 Monitoring quality management system to ensure earliest corrective
action in the event of anynon-conformity.

Student Feedback on Institutional 1. Written feedback forms are taken from students and feedback is

3. The Feedbacks are then analyzed to get the final performanceof
the faculty.

Grievance Redressal mechanism for The Grievance Redressal Cell was constituted to probe into the student
Faculty, staff and students grievances. The Grievance Redressal Cell attempts to address genuine
problems and complaints of students whatever be the nature of the problem.
Objectives

 To create a platform where students can point out their problems,

regarding academic and non-academicmatters.
 Get suggestions from the students forimprovement.
 Take necessary steps for improvement in the light ofgrievances.

10 Admission Procedure
Admission Through WBJEE / AIEEE Exam.

Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India

Age Criteria: The minimum age required by the candidate to be eligibile for WBJEE 2021 is 17 years as on December
31, 2021. The candidate should have been born on or before December 31, 2005. There is no upper limit for
B.Techprogrammes except for Marine Engineering where the upper age limit is 25 years as on December 31, 2021.

Academic Qualification: The candidates should have qualified his/ her 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics
and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as
compulsory subjects with individual passing marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three
subjects mentioned above in regular class mode. Those candidates who will be appearing in the qualifying exam in 2019
are also eligible to apply for WBJEE 2021.

Marks Required: General category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 45% and reserved category
candidates should have scored 40% in the above three subjects taken together to be eligible for WBJEE 2021. All
candidates are required to have qualified English in 10+2 with at least 30% marks. The board of the qualifying
examination must be recognized by Central and State government concerned.

Domicile: To be treated as the domicile for West Bengal, the candidate should be a resident of West Bengal for 10 years
consecutively as on December 31, 2021 or the parents of the candidates should be permanent residents of West Bengal
with a permanent residential address in the state.
