What is Target Code?

• Target Code is a specific revision of code that has met a minimum number of run time hours, installs and
upgrades, and has demonstrated stability through customer usage.
• Target Code moves forward regularly as newer releases meet the criteria.
• Target Code is set at the third decimal place, and customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest
available patch level from the ‘Drivers and Download’ section of the Product Support Page.
• If a software version has recently been promoted to Target code, then “Latest Code” and “Target Code”
for the product may be at the same revision of code.

for a span of 3 years.

• LTS releases are set at the third number, and customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest
