Cinderella

A long time ago in a distant kingdom there lived Cinderella and her father, he was a
widower and he thought of finding a mother for his daughter and remarried.

Father: Cinderella come I have a surprise for you

Cinderella: I'm coming father

Father: meet your new mother and sister.

Cinderella: what, like so, since when do you and her go out?

Father: it doesn't matter, I did it because I love you.

Cinderella: when did you meet her?

Father: you remember the neighbor's party she invited us to and I met her there.

Cinderella: But why didn't you tell me before?

Father: I wanted to surprise you, now don't be rude and say hello.

Cinderella: it's okay, I'll just do it for you, hello, nice to meet you, my name is Cinderella.

Stepmother: Yes, of course, if you are pleased to meet us.

Griselda: And why are you dressed in those rags?

Cinderella: rags, these clothes belonged to my mother.

Griselda: huy but your mother was old-fashioned.

Cinderella: Hey, how dare you insult her, who do you think you are?

Griselda: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh let go of me, my hair

Stepmother: no more girls, I don't want to see this commotion in my house.

Cinderella: you'll deal with me already.

Stepmother: You are no longer grounded, and you are not to leave your room until I say
so.

Cinderella: you are not my mother, you do not give me orders.

Father: Cinderella, don't be rude and apologize to Griselda and your mother.

Cinderella: no father I'm sorry but I won't do it.

Stepmother: (hitting Cinderella) this will teach you to obey your parents.

Cinderella: thanks for the punch, it wasn't necessary, I was just leaving.

Stepmother: dear, your daughter has to go to manners classes.

Father: no she is a very pretty girl but she did not like the surprise.

Stepmother: no dear, these behaviors are not worthy of a young lady.

Father: I know, well I have to work, I'm leaving, give Cinderella a kiss.

Stepmother: Okay dear, take care of yourself.

Father: okay, take care of my daughter, see you next week.

One week later

Stepmother: Cinderella, I have some bad news, your father is dead, I'm so sorry.

Cinderella: it can't be, you had something to do with it, you murdered him.

Stepmother: that's not true, how can you say that about me if I am a decent person and not
a criminal?

Cinderella: I don't believe you very much (exits scene)

Stepmother: hahahahahaha I finally got rid of that fool and now the second part of my
plan.

The following day

Stepmother: Cinderella my breakfast I'm hungry

Cinderella: And what about that? Do I have to prepare it for you?

Stepmother: of course and then who

Cinderella: well, you

Stepmother: no, of course not, you do that.

Cinderella: well, no

Stepmother: Well, if you don't do what I say, you'll be out on the street.

Cinderella: and where I will live

Stepmother: I don't know and I don't care.

Cinderella: okay I will do it

Stepmother: Well, hurry up

Griselda: Cinderella, where are my clothes?

Cinderella: I don't know

Griselda: as you told me

Cinderella: Well, I don't know, I don't have to wash your clothes.

Griselda: You do it or I tell my mother.

Cinderella: no

Griselda: Mom!

Cinderella: no please, I'm coming

In the castle
King: Counselor!

Advisor: I am coming, Your Majesty

King: it is time for my son to get married, he is very old and must fulfill his obligations.

Counselor: yes majesty but we must be patient with him

King: patience is what I don't have, I'm already very old and I want to see my
grandchildren grow and grow.

Counselor: I understand sir

King: I have an idea

Counselor: what is your majesty I am listening

King: as my son arrives at the palace today we will organize a ball in his honor and invite
all the marriageable maidens of the kingdom and the prince will fall in love with one of
them and case solved.

Counselor: what a great idea sir, I will organize the dance myself.

King: that's the attitude

In Cinderella's house
Cinderella: Madam, a letter has arrived from the palace.

Stepmother: thank you Cinderella well let's read, "there will be a ball in honor of the
prince".

Griselda: to the prince!

Stepmother: "and by order of the king, all marriageable maidens must go".

Cinderella: So I can come too?

Griselda: no mother can't go, can you imagine her dancing with the prince, can his majesty
carry my broom?

Cinderella: hahaha very funny, besides why can't I go, I'm part of the family and it says
that all the marriageable maidens are invited.

Stepmother: mmmmmm that's a very good point that's fine you can go if you finish your
homework.

Cinderella: thank you, thank you I'll finish quickly

Stepmother: and you'd better find a dress to wear.

Prince: but I don't want to get married yet I want to travel the world.

King: no sir, the king here is me and whatever I say is done, so do me the favor of getting
