An abstract is a brief or condensed statement by the writer, or the essential ideas of the writers work. The abstract must not exceed 600 words in length and should a statement of the problem, an explanation of the methods and procedures used in gathering data, and a summary of the findings. It should not be just a summary statement of each chapter.
