RESULTI Calorimeter C
It is observed from the graphs that rate of loss of heat is
large for the calorimeter C as compared to the calorimeter

HOW TO DO|
1. Take two identical calorimeters A and B. Polish calorimeter B black and leaving calorimeter Aas
shining as it is.
2. Now transfer 100 ml of boiling water in each of the calorimeters A and B and insert the
thermometers T, and T with the help of the two stands.
3. Now note down the temperature of water in calorimeter A and calorimeter B after intervals
half minute initially and one minute later on till the temperature of the water in calorimeter
and B falls to a value about l5° to 20°C above the room temperature.
4. Record all the observations in Table I.
