Program Mission

BBA program promotes business management aptitude among the young minds at
state-of-the-art campuses across the country under guidance of renowned
academics and corporate leaders. The program strives to inculcate ethical business
practices among our graduates to promote socially responsible businesses for
equitable development in the country.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs): After attending this course, the students
should be able to:-
 To understand the quantitative techniques to solve business related
mathematical problems with effective interpretation skills.
 To critical thinking and problem solving - evaluate information and solve
problems.

 To apply basic mathematical skills to solve real world business applications.

 To determine level of cost that cannot be exceeded in order to maintain


required profit and a competitive selling price.

Course Description
Business Mathematics-II is an advance business mathematics and 2 nd semester
course of BBA program. The main concept of this course is to upgrade application of
quantitative prospective in business management and to further improve numeracy
skills for business solutions and analysis. This course will cover important area of
quantitative techniques that are useful for business management such as
mathematics of finance, optimization by derivative tools, optimal use of revenue
function, Differentiation, Integration & curve sketching.

Teaching Methodology
Mixed instructional methods shall be put in practice for comprehensive learning of students.
It includes pedagogy and andragogical techniques of mind stimulation of the learners. For
this purpose students shall be involved in Lectures demonstration, discussions, presentations,
group activitiesand Case Studies. Students shall be distributed into groups for mutual
discussions; learn how to share works, prepare team based solution to problems and develop
arguments for presentation cum thesis. Developing arguments shall be taken as core activities
of the course on multiple topics for conclusive literature reviews.
