Line Command
Absolute Co-ordinate Method
1. Type ‘L’ at command bar
2. Specify first point as ‘X1, Y1’ [e.g. 10, 10 or 20, 10]
3. Move the cursor in the direction you want to draw
4. Specify second point as ‘X2, Y2’ [e.g. 20, 10 or 20, 30]
5. Press ‘ESC’ if you do not want to continue
6. To continue repeat steps 3 and 4
7. To close type ‘C’ at command bar
8. To undo type ‘U’ at command bar
Relative co-ordinate Method
1. Type ‘L’ at command bar
2. Specify first point by clicking on the screen
3. Move the cursor in the direction you want to draw
4. Specify second point as ‘@ CHANGE IN X, CHANGE
IN Y’
5. Press ‘ESC’ if you do not want to continue
6. To continue repeat steps 3 and 4
7. To close type ‘C’ at command bar

Zoom Command

4. For multiple offset type ‘M’ at command bar
5. Specify point on desired side
6. Press ‘ESC’ to end command
Trim Command

2. Select objects [click ‘ENTER’ two times]

Extend Command

4. Enter name of the block you want to insert
5. Type ‘Y’ if you want to align with object else type ‘N’

4. Give name as ‘D_(SCALE)’
5. Click on ‘OK’
6. In ‘FIT’ change ‘USE OVERALL SCALE OF’
7. In ‘TEXT’ click ‘ALIGNED WITH DIMENSION
LINE’
8. In ‘PRIMARY UNITS’ change ‘UNIT FORMAT’
and ‘PRECISION’ as required
9. Click ‘OK’
10. Select the created dimension and click on ‘SET
CURRENT’
11. Click ‘CLOSE’
12. Go to ‘ANNOTATE’ and select the dimension
