1.inventory Visibility
SAP Customer Activity Repository includes functionality that allows you to achieve a
near real-time view on inventory in your business. Typically, your inventory information
is stored and managed in your SAP ERP source system.
Use
Some examples of how inventory counts in SAP ERP are updated include:
POS transaction sales data received from SAP POS DM or SAP Customer
Activity Repository: data on what items and in what quantity are sold in brick-
and-mortar stores is posted to SAP ERP at regular intervals. SAP ERP inventory
counts are updated accordingly.
This particular type of update does not necessarily occur frequently enough to
obtain a near real-time view on your current inventory.
Support for structured articles: splits the structured articles of type sales
set from POS Unprocessed Sales into their components and reports the
unprocessed quantities of the components.
