Audit Letter
We refer to the above matter and letter dated 31 st May 2023 addressed to us
seeking confirmation on, inter alia, any undisclosed or contingent liabilities of Tan
Khor & Sons Sdn Bhd. (“Company”) as at 31st December 2022.
2. As requested, we hereby confirm that we are not aware of / do not have
any knowledge on any litigations and claims including those settled during
the year of pending.
3. We hereby confirm that we do not have any documents of title to any asset
and/or the amount of monies belonging to the Company which we are
holding as stakeholder, for safe custody or any lien on such documents or
monies. There is however an ongoing Sales and Purchase Agreement dated
20 December 2022 between Sinar Kerb Sdn Bhd (“Vendor”) and the
Company as the (“Purchaser”) for the property namely one (1) unit of office
Lot (first floor) known as No.38-1, Jalan Prima 2, Pusat Niaga Metro Prima,
52100 Kepong, Kuala Lumpur held under Pakajan Negeri 30337/M1/2/2, No.
Tingkat 2, No. Petak 2 Lot 57707, Daerah Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Wilayah
Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur at the purchase price of Ringgit Malaysia Three
Hundred and Ten Thousand (RM310,000.00), whereby the documents of
titles are still in the possession of existing chargee (Malayan Banking
Berhad) for the security of financing for the Vendor.
4. As regards all previous, all our fees and disbursement charges have been
duly paid.
5. We understand that our reply is sought solely for the information of, and
assistance in connection with audit exercise of the Company. Thus, we will
not be quoted or otherwise referred to in any report or related documents
of the Bank and our confirmation will not be filed with or furnished to any
government agency or other person without our prior written consent.
6. We will accept no responsibility to the Company or any other party for any
error or omission in relation to this letter, whether cause by negligence or
otherwise.
