I. Introduction
The advocacy on the promotion of correct hygiene and sanitation practices among school
children and a clean environment has been the government’s priority through the Department of
Education to keep the learners safe and healthy, excel academically and develop to be productive
citizens in the country.

II. Back Ground


The project was facilitated by the Local Government Unit, particularly the Admin. This project
was funded by Special Education Fund.
As a ways and means coordinator of Francisco T. Luiz Sr. Central Elementary School, looking
forward to the good of the entire school beneficiaries, we asked for help from our Municipal Mayor
Hon. Vic Paul M. Salarda regarding the status of our water system. The issue is water tank was not
elevated causes can’t supply water to the entire classrooms of the school and it is long time use. It is
recommended for the reconstruction of the water tank. I talked and discussed the condition of the
water tank with our municipal mayor Hon. Vic Paul M. Salarda. Luckily, he pledges to replace the said
water tank. We’re so blessed and grateful for that commitment, the elevated water tank was already
existing and supplies enough water to entire classrooms of the school. It is officially turned over to the
school by the local government headed by our very own municipal mayor Hon. Vic Paul M. Salarda

Since water is at the center of economic and social development, it is vital to maintain health,
grow food and manage the environment.
