Family fun day
Today was the ‘family fun day’ in my school. A day for outdoor activities. Every
member of my family was invited, also my best friend Sammy.
I can remember vividly what Sammy said when I told him I was inviting him
to a family fun day. “You know Mensah my friend, I have never attended a family
fun day before”
“ so what do I wear?” asked Sammy, “ Sammy, everyone is expected to
dress casually” I told him.
We arrived at my school at about 10am. The school was well decorated in
different shades of blue. There were lots of balloons too. When we alighted from
the car, we were welcomed at the gate by some of my school teachers.
