Re: Dev Anand, aged 44

I am writing to refer Dev Anand, who is recovering after being hit by a car and he suffered a left hip
replacement and splenectomy. Your assessment for his rehabilitation would be greatly appreciated.

Mr. Anand has been provided with crutches for mobilizing and he has been encouraged to continue
physiotherapy as he missed some of them due to his condition and wife’s work schedule. To follow
recommended exercises were also been suggested as well as analgesia has been prescribed for pain
relief.

Today’s visit, Mr. Anand confessed that he has been experienced two falls in the last two weeks and he
would be interested in swimming instead of exercising . He also has been feeling worried following his
inability to return at work, to help with household and with his 6-year-old daughter.

Mr. Anand would benefit from your help with home office set-up regarding working remotely, as he
needs a sofa bed and his wife has been instructed to support him by creating a safer environment for
movement. A physiotherapist was notified to help Mr. Anand reach his exercise goals.
