1. This Question Paper has 5 Sections A, B, C, D and E.
2. Section A has 20 MCQs carrying 1 mark each.
3. Section B has 5 questions carrying 02 marks each.
4. Section C has 6 questions carrying 03 marks each.
5. Section D has 4 questions carrying 05 marks each.
6. Section E has 3 case based integrated units of assessment (04 marks each) with sub-parts of the
values of 1,1and 2 marks each respectively.
7. All Questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice in 2 Qs of 5 marks, 2 Qs of 3 marks
and 2 Qs of 2 marks has been provided. An internal choice has been provided in the 2marks
questions of Section E.
8. Draw neat figures wherever required. Take π =22/7 wherever required if not stated.

25. A chord of a circle of radius 15 cm subtends an angle of 600 at the centre. Find the area of the
corresponding minor sector of the circle. (use P 3.14 )
SECTION - C
(Section C consists of 6 questions of 3 marks each)
26. Three sets of English, Hindi and Mathematics books have to be stacked in such a way that all
the books are stored subject wise and the height of each stack is same. The number of English
books is 96, the number of Hindi books is 240 and the number of Mathematics books is 336.
Assuming that the books are of the same thickness, determine the number of stacks of English,
Hindi and Mathematics books.
27. A drone vertically above a Jeep moving towards a building at the same speed as the Jeep. When
the horizontal distance between the building and the Jeep is 30 m, then the angle of depression
of the top of the building from the drone is 300. Find the height of the drone above the top of the
building and the shortest distance from the top of the building to the drone.
OR
A ladder of height 10 m is inclined to a vertical wall at an angle of 600 to the horizontal. When
its top slides down below its original position, the angle of elevation changes to 300.Find the
height by which it slides down from its original position.
28. If sum of n terms of an AP is (3n2+4n), then find its first term, second term, common difference
and the nth term .
29. A circle touches the sides of a quadrilateral ABCD at P, Q, R, S respectively. Show that the
angle subtended at the centre by a pair of opposite sides is supplementary.
OR
AB is a diameter and AC is a chord of a circle with centre O such that ∠BAC = 300. The tangent
at C intersects extended AB at a point D. Prove that BC = BD.

31. A survey regarding the heights (in cm) of 51 boys of class X of a school was conducted and the
following data was obtained. Find mode of the data.

34. A building is in the form of a cylinder surmounted by a hemispherical vaulted dome and

contains 41 "m3 of air. If the internal diameter of dome is equal to its total height above the
floor, find the height of the building?
OR
A solid toy is in the form of a right circular cylinder with a hemisphere at one end and a cone at
the other end having same base diameter 4.2cm.The heights of the cylindrical and conical
portions are 12 cm and 7 cm respectively. Find the volume of the toy.
35. The median of the following data is 525. Find the values of and ,if the total frequency is 100.
