Subcontracting is the process where components are issued to external

vendor for a job work or for the process which is not done within the
organization. For example sending two different products for TIG
welding.

Generally, the vendor only charges for the services and the products
will be provided by the customer.

Following are the settings required for Subcontracting process in EWM

First activate the BC set

/SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_SUBCONTRACTOR in transaction
SCPR20

This BC set has following settings

Sub contracting Delivery Setting. Transaction Code : OMGM

Vendor-customer relationship

The vendor should have customer assigned to it. This will be used

when you’ll create the outbound delivery.

Make the following setting for maintaining the shipping data for Plant.
Also make sure that Materials are extended in this Sales Area.

Click on the components Tab

These components can be automatically determined if Bill of Material

is made, and these can also be given Manually.

Goto transaction ME2ON

This will give you list of products against Purchase Order which need
to be shipped out.

Select the line items to be sent and click on create Delivery

Click on Create Delivery

Same delivery flows in EWM

Create the task, confirm the picking and do Goods Issue.
