LET'S DISCOVER
Music used to be played on LP (long play or long playing) records and cassette
tapes.
The cassette player was a popular music player in 1970s and 1980s .Nowadays
recording and listening to music have been made so easy. Companies can easily
record sound in studios, and release it easily through CDs(compact discs) or
online.Specialized computer applications have been developed to facilitate
streaming and downloading of music at every minimal fees, in seconds, one can
already have music available and play it back on computers or mobile devices. With
the development of the Internet Of Things (loT), a car for example, has access to
the internet and plays music from there. Access music have been made limitless

DIGITIZATION
Recording sound involved digitization. Digitization
is when sound in an analog form (sound that we
continuously hear from a source) is converted into
digital form. Transforms an analog form into codes
that the computer can understand so that it can be
easily played back.

DIGITIZATION
Digitization starts with equipment like
microphones and amplifiers, which
capture sound from analog source
(e.g, person signing). The microphones
concert this sound into electric and
into the amplifier that makes the Microphone
current larger for better quality

DIGITIZATION
These information from the electric currents are then
translated into bits that the computer will understand.
The computer will need to use its Analog-to-digital
converter (ADC), which is the main device for digital
recording. ADC captures these currents and converts
them into digital numbers known as a sample.

PLAY SOUND
To play a sound the computer uses digital - to - Analog
converter (DAC). It uses the digital information it has, and the
sample size will play a factor in the play back. The sound in
then played back through the speakers, which do the
opposite role of the microphone. From digital bits sound is
converted back to electric Currents and signals, enabling it
to vibrate and play sound.
